What to Expect
EXPLORATION CALL
I encourage anyone that is interested in having sessions with me schedule a free 15-minute discovery call. This will give you a chance to interview me, discuss goals, and determine how my approach aligns with your interests.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
The initial consultation is 80-90 minutes long. It is a comprehensive appointment to determine goals, identify obstacles and challenges, review health history (including surgery and injury history), and assess current health and fitness. This includes an integrated comprehensive breathing assessment and introductory training session. Collaboratively, we will develop a plan toward a sustainable practice to achieve your goals. Future sessions are structured in accordance with this individualized plan.
ONGOING SESSIONS
Sessions are structured to be progressive, with each typically lasting 50 minutes. During this time, particular skills will be introduced and practiced, and home-work will be recommended. Initially, fundamental or remedial practices may be necessary. Over time, new skills are introduced while previous learning is reinforced. Like any other new skill, time, patience, and commitment yield the best results. Since this training involves reorganizing and rewiring our nervous system, two sessions per month are recommended and encouraged initially. Gradually, the frequency is reduced as you are become empowered in your own process and practice.
