Something Different
For over 35 years, Dr. George has been teaching breathing practices as a cornerstone for health, wellness, and performance. As a naturopathic doctor he specializes in care for stress, anxiety, trauma, and emotional/autonomic dysregulation. Before this, working as a personal trainer, mental health counselor, acupuncturist, and performance consultant, Dr. George found mindful and conscious breathing practices to be accessible and beneficial as well. Drawing on principles from many traditional breathing and mind-body practices, supported by scientific evidence, his goal is to help people breathe better for greater well-being, emotional resilience, performance, vitality, and quality of life.
One factor that distinguishes Dr. George from other breathing coaches is his medical knowledge, clinical experience, and holistic understanding of people. Certain styles of breathwork/breathing and mind-body practices are contra-indicated for specific health conditions, although this does not prevent other forms of training. Safety and success go hand-in-hand.
